Four County Career Center’s Williams County Career Based Intervention (CBI) students recently participated in a service learning project helping prepare the Bryan Recreation Park for winter by mulching trees and bushes. Every year the students combine academics in the classroom with community involvement. CBI students are taught the importance of civic duty by helping to take care of the parks for everyone to enjoy. Shown during the mulching process are CBI students (LEFT TO RIGHT) Dustin Swank (Montpelier); Austin Kurtz (Bryan); Evan Zeissig (Bryan); and Megan Knapp (Stryker). Tony McCord, Williams County CBI instructor, made the arrangements and supervised the project.
