One year ago, People said “It couldn’t be done, you will be lucky to have 40 motorcyles”. Low and behold we ended up with a 163 riders for PTSD and over 400 in total when the doors opened.

This years event is August 27th. The Poker Run starts with kickstands up at 11:30, making several stops at other American Legions and back to Swanton. The event is $15.00 rider, 10.00 passenger and $ 10.00 after 4 ( with dinner included). We will have the Founder and Service dog from the Battle Buddy Foundation and our special guest is the gentleman who made the American Flag out of Army men that was over a million shares on Facebook.

This Event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Our goal this year is to fund a service dog for a deserving veteran with PTSD. Any monetary donations can be made at any PNC bank “Battle Buddy Foundation Poker Run” or stop on August 27th, for basket raffles and 50/50’s. What better way to support our Veterans?

You may also, contact the Swanton American Legion at 419-826-2936 for further information.
