The Swanton Bulldogs used a strong Semi Final and consolation round to earn a Sectional title at Archbold High School Saturday. The Bulldogs sent 12 wrestlers to the District tournament to be held at Waite High School March 3rd and 4th. They were lead by 145 lb. Junior Chase Moore with a 1st place finish. Nine other Swanton wrestlers heading to district included four runners up and five third place. Delta was fifth as a team lead by three 1st place finishers Cole and Drew Mattin as champions at 120 and 126 respectively and Dylan Rogers at 182. They will take six to district but those top three will garner some team points to keep them in shot for a team title run. Archbold finished second as a team lead by Gavin Grime at 132 and Noah Mattin at 138 with first place finishes. Mattin has State tourney experience so he looks to advance to the big show again. Six other Bluestreaks will contest for a ticket to Columbus. Evergreen had a champion at 106 in Evan Fahrer and he is their lone qualifier.
