The Swanton Public Library has digitized its microfilm collection of The Swanton Enterprise, with editions complete back to October 26, 1922 and currently ending in 2014.

Patrons who wish to view The Swanton Enterprise may link to the online database from the library’s website. Digital editions will also be stored on an external hard drive available on library premises.

The change is a welcome one as the update includes search and browsing options as well as printing capability. The digital editions also include the ability to edit, crop, and resize. The library’s current microfilm machine is read-only and will remain for viewing onsite.

A direct link to the database is available at http://swanton.advantage-preservation.com/ and a link is also available on the library’s website at www.swantonpubliclibrary.org.

For more information or for assistance accessing the digitized content, patrons may visit or call the library during regular business hours. One-on-one appointments are also available.
