ADB4 WEBThe Swanton Lions Club has two upcoming events for the public, one this month and one in April. This Saturday, 3/19/16, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the Lions will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Swanton Memorial Park.

The age range will be from four years old to 12 years old and the participants will be divided into several smaller age groups for individual hunts. Participants should gather at the park’s shelter house to receive instructions. Hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks will be served.

The April event will be a dodgeball tournament held at Swanton High School on 4/9/16 starting at 10:00 AM. Known as “Dodge for a Good Cause,” this is a fund raising event with the proceeds being split between Swanton School’s Backpack Buddies Program and the Diabetes Youth Services.

The tournament will feature co-ed teams of six individuals competing in five different divisions, 2nd/3rd graders, 4th/5th graders, middle schoolers, high schoolers/adults and teachers. Teams can register up to the date of the tournament. If you would like to enter a team and be part of the fun contact the Lions through their Facebook page, Swanton Lions Club.
