Shannon Shulters was welcomed into the position of Village Administrator on July 11th, 2022. She took over the position from previous Administrator Rosanna Hoelzle.

Like new Finance Director Jason Vasko, Shulters grew up in Metamora and graduated from the Evergreen High School.

Since then, she went on to further her education at the Tiffin University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while majoring in Organizational Management.

From there she went on to work as the Assistant Director for the Fulton County Economic Development Corporation from 2015 to August of 2018.

Shulters also served on the Wauseon Chamber Board of Directors for several years. She was even a member of the Swanton Rotary and the National Exchange Club of Toledo.

According to a bio for Shulters, after departing from the Fulton County Economic Development Corporation, she gained “knowledge and experience within the automotive, construction insurance and scrap metal recycling industries.”

The bio also states that she “truly enjoys volunteering and has assisted in event organization for the FCEDC, Wauseon Chamber of Commerce and Triangular Processing’s Festival of Trees.”

In 2018 Shulters graduated from the Fulton Leadership University. Currently residing in Lyons, she enjoys spending time with her children, running and being outdoors.
