AN0639260 copynother new month means another full slate for the Normal Memorial Library in Fayette. The adult class for February will be a stained glass class with Mr. Richard Brzezicki; the cost of the class is $25, and includes use of all machines and materials. The class will be making sun catchers, but there is only room for six so reserve your spot now.

Story Time is every Monday from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. and is open to children aged 2-5 years not yet in kindergarten. On February 4, the book will be Dragon Dance and the craft will be making a straw dragon. For February 11, the book will be Sweet Hearts in honor of Valentines Day and there will be Valntine Party afterward. On February 18, the book will be Life of George Washington and the craft will be making George’s face. Finally, on February 25, the last Story Time of February, the book will be Baby Polar Bear’s Snow Day, and the craft will be Polar Bear cut and paste. Come by and enjoy.

The After School Program sponsored by Huntington will continue in February. It is still for children in grades K-4 with the K-1 group coming on Tuesdays and the 2-4 group coming on Thursdays. This program lasts from 3:00 – 3:45 p.m. February 5 and 7, the groups will be playing bingo. On the 12th and 14th, they will be doing a craft. The 19th and 20th are play days. And on the 26th and 28th, the groups will be having a talent show.

The Thursdays @ 7 Book Club will be meeting on Thursday, February 28, to discuss The Mermaid Garden, by Santa Montefiore. Veronica’s Book Club will meet on Tuesday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Hope In a Jar, by Beth Harbison.

The Normal Memorial Library would like to thank the following individuals for their generous donations: Pat Cousino for donating books; Karen Lavinder for donating a subscription to Farmland News in memory of Mick Schaffner, and Jerry Gonzalez for donating a book on CD.
