NAPOLEON – It’s never a good sign to see a relief pitcher coming on in the first inning…let alone two relief pitchers. The first inning proved to be the big key for the Tinora Rams as they pounded the Pettisville Blackbirds out of the D-IV Sectional title game on May 14, 14-4.[emember_protected custom_msg=”Full content protected for online subscribers. The Rams rocked Pettisville pitchers Cam Norris, Noah Miller and Alex Roth for a total of nine runs before the bottom of the first inning mercifully came to an end. The Blackbirds got three back in the top of the third, but Tinora added five in the home half of the fourth to invoke the run rule.

Jacob Deffely had a pair of singles for 9-10 / 7-3 Pettisville. Norris had an RBI base hit, and Jacob Roth singled and scored two.
