Troopers Seize Oxycodone Pills Worth Over $12,000

11863434_913274775432958_1682467112998313548_n WEBTroopers stopped a 2015 Dodge Journey, with Michigan registration, for a marked lanes violation on Interstate 75 southbound, near milepost 194, in Wood County at 2:05 a.m., on August 12.

Criminal indicators were observed and a Perrysburg Township drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed 534 Oxycodone Pills, worth $ 12,396.

The driver, Daniel Pounds, 21, of Eastpointe, Mich., and passengers, Akezia Jones, 24, of Detroit, Mich., and Aundrey Allen, 23, of Redford, Mich., were incarcerated in the Wood County Jail and charged with possession and trafficking in a schedule II substance, both second-degree felonies.
