Two Four County Career Center Student Earn Top Trophies At State FCCLA Leadership Conference

STATE FCCLA … Two students from Four County Career Center’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) have earned a 1st or 2nd Place Trophy at the State FCCLA Leadership Conference in Columbus. They earned the right to advance to national competition held in Nashville, Tennessee, July 2 – 6. Shown with their trophies are (LEFT TO RIGT) Katie Ewers (Edon) Interior Design – 2nd place trophy; and Paige Coressel (Archbold) Fashion Design – 1st place trophy. The FCCLA participants are challenged to complete a project in their area of career and technical training within a specified time period while being scored by a panel of judges. Both of these students did an outstanding job in their respective competitions. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national organization for high school and college students where the activities and programs complement classroom instruction by giving students practical experience through application of the skills learned at school. Career Center FCCLA lead Advisor is Michele Nafziger.
