Two Four County Students Chosen As HOSA State Officers

2016 state officers WEBFour County Career Center’s Health Careers students Seth Kuhlman (Defiance) has been elected as the 2016 Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) State President and Katie Foster (Hilltop) as the State Secretary. To obtain an officer’s position, Seth and Katie were required to take a written test, interviewed by the State Advisor and present a speech to fellow HOSA students and advisors from all over the state of Ohio. They were chosen and sworn in for these positions at the recent HOSA State Conference at the University of Toledo. Seth and Katie will represent Ohio HOSA at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, June 22-25. All of the Career Center staff and students congratulate these students for this wonderful accomplishment. Four County Career Center HOSA programs include Health Careers and Sports Fitness & Exercise Science. HOSA Advisors are Donna Badenhop, Robin Hill, Karen Walker and Mike Nye.
