Two Fulton County Residents Sentenced In Common Pleas Court

Two Fulton County men were sentenced on July 23, 2019 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.


Curtis Stanley, 27, of 205 Monroe St., Apt. D, Delta, previously pleaded guilty to Burglary. On January 28, 2019, he knowingly by force trespass in occupied structure, with the purpose to commit any criminal offense.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Stanley to 18 months in prison and ordered him to pay prosecution costs and court appointed counsel fees.


Joey Barthel, 26, of 840 N. Fulton Street, Wauseon, previously pleaded guilty to Domestic Violence and Using Weapons While Intoxicated. On or about November 3, 2018, he caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family member while he was intoxicated and in possession of a firearm.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Barthel to 2 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, have no contact with the victim, successfully complete any treatment recommended by Maumee Valley guidance Center, successfully complete the Batterer’s Treatment Program at the Center for Child & Family Advocacy, serve 51 days in CCNO with credit for 21 days already served, be assessed for drug/alcohol treatment and successfully complete any recommendations, and forfeit his firearms to the State for destruction.
