Williams County joined communities across Ohio on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in recognizing “Wear Blue to Work Day” as part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Observed statewide each April, the initiative encourages individuals, workplaces, and organizations to wear blue in support of children and families, while raising awareness about the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
The campaign emphasizes that creating safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children is a shared community responsibility.
The Williams County Job and Family Services (JFS) joined this initiative as its staff wore blue in front of the county courthouse square.
The effort serves as a reminder that preventing child abuse is a shared responsibility and that even small acts of awareness can help foster safer and stronger environments for local children.
