Two Montpelier Women Of The Moose Receive Friendship Degree

AOF031516-1 WEBChris Potts, left, and Terri Groll, right, members of Montpelier Chapter #270, Women of the Moose, received special honors at the recent Mid-Year Conference of the Ohio State Moose Association at Independence in February. They were among 51 matriculants receiving the Academy of Friendship Degree in special ceremonies. Also attending the conference representing the chapter were Senior Regent Bonnie Gonzales, Junior Regent Cindy Pierce and Recorder Reynalda McKinney. Rey was a member of the conferral staff performing the Academy of Friendship ceremony. Deputy Grand Regent Jill Clark presided at the Women of the Moose conference with Moose Charities Executive Director Jan Fregulia from Mooseheart, IL serving as the official visitor. Also attending was Grand Regent Jeanenne Lautzenheiser from Newnan, GA, originally from Van Wert and a member of the Findlay, Ohio chapter. Chris and Terri will be honored at a special Academy of Friendship ring ceremony on Thursday, April 7th at 6:30 p.m. hosted by Montpelier Chapter 270, WOTM. All Academy of Friendship members of the chapter are encouraged to attend to help celebrate with Chris and Terri. Currently there are 37 members of the Academy of Friendship in the local chapter. Co-workers of the chapter earn the degree by serving as an officer, appointed officer or chairman, helping on a chapter development committee, and actively sponsoring two or more new members.
