Two People Arrested For Involvement In Archbold Stolen Car Chase Among Eight Indicted By Fulton County Grand Jury

On February 8, 2021, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney Scott A. Haselman.

DEZTANEY T. SPENCER, age 21, of Cleveland, OH, was indicted on one count of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, one count of Failure to Comply With Order or Signal of a Police Officer, and one count of Receiving Stolen Property. On or about January 11, 2021, she allegedly stole a motor vehicle. She also allegedly failed to comply with an order or signal from a police officer to bring her vehicle to a stop. Finally, she allegedly retained a second motor vehicle knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that it had been stolen. 21CR11.

THORNE D. CARRINGTON, age 28, of Cleveland, OH, was indicted on one count of Complicity to Commit Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, one count of Failure to Comply With Order or Signal of a Police Officer, and one count of Receiving Stolen Property. On or about January 11, 2021, he allegedly aided another in stealing a motor vehicle. He also allegedly failed to comply with an order or signal from a police officer to bring his vehicle to a stop. Finally, he allegedly retained a second motor vehicle knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that it had been stolen. 21CR18.

DANIEL E. COUSINO, age 26, of Swanton, OH, was indicted on one count of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. On or about January 12, 2021, he allegedly operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. 21CR17.

RICHARD A. BRICKER, age 57, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on one count of Violating a Protection Order. On or about January 11, 2021, he allegedly violated the terms of a protection order issued against him after previously being convicted of that offense. 21CR13.

CHRISTOPHER LR CARDEN, age 34, of Morenci, MI, was indicted on two counts of Theft and one count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity. On or about January 2, 2021 to January 5, 2021, he allegedly stole property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $7,500. He also allegedly participated in the affairs of an enterprise through a pattern of corrupt activity. 21CR15.

CHARLES K. COFFELT, age 29, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Heroin. On or about November 29, 2020, he allegedly used or possessed heroin. 21CR14.

STEVEN P. TUCKER, age 50, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on two counts of Domestic Violence, one count of Obstructing Official Business, two counts of Aggravated Menacing, and one count of Resisting Arrest. On or about January 16, 2021, he allegedly caused physical harm to a family or household member, and allegedly obstructed the performance of a public official’s lawful duties. He also allegedly resisted in the lawful arrest of himself, allegedly causing physical harm to a police officer. 21CR16.

DESHAWN M. McGARRY, age 23, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Cocaine, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, and one count of Possession of Drugs. On or about August 8, 2020, he allegedly possessed Cocaine, Etizolam, and Alprazolam. 21CR12.

It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation, and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
