EDGERTON – Edgerton opened its season with a 7-4 non-league victory over Hilltop at Sharon Shaffer Field. Ayden King led the Bulldogs (1-0) with three hits including a double and drove in three runs.

Olivia Wallace added two hits including a double and drove in two runs, while Ava Swank singled twice. Halle Jones led Hilltop (3-2) with two hits including a triple, and Brooklyn Kuszmaul had a double.

Wallace was also the winning hurler in the circle for Edgerton. She allowed four runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and a walk.
