Hilltop Elementary School in West Unity will be hosting a Veterans Day program on Monday, Nov. 12 at 2:00 P.M. in the school gymnasium. We would like to give special recognition to all those who have served our country in war and in peace. Elementary students in grades 1 through 4 will be singing patriotic music and reading some poetry.

This year, Lynn Thompson, a Hilltop graduate will be speaking to us about his experiences in Iraq. He has been there several times and we are very pleased that he has agreed to do this.
Our elementary students are very excited to show our veterans how much we appreciate their service, and they have been practicing every day. The public is invited to this very special program.
