Victoria A. Mays, age 69, of Columbia, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana following a lengthy illness.
Vicky worked at 50 Corporation in Bryan before she retired. She was an avid bowler and member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Fremont and the American Legion Auxiliary in Angola. She enjoyed going out to eat and an occasional trip to a casino.
Victoria was born on December 21, 1953, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Simon W. and G. Pauline (Karnes) Hug.
She married Stephen J. Mays on October 3, 1998 in Angola, Indiana and he survives.
Vicky is survived by her husband, Stephen Mays; brothers, Joseph (Judy) Hug, of Edon, Phil (Sue) Hug and Jerry (Wanda) Hug, both of Bryan and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Anthony Hug and half-brothers, Thomas Karnes and Terry Woodruff.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon with memorial services starting a 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Daniel Borgelt officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery next to her brother in a private ceremony.
