Virgil Kulp (1940-2018)

Virgil K. Kulp, age 78 years, of Archbold, passed away Saturday morning, October 27, 2018, at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold.

He was born March 14, 1940 near Archbold, the son of Samuel and Luella (King) Kulp.  He lived in the state of Washington for several years before returning to Archbold, and was a long-distance truck driver for 40 years before retiring.  He enjoyed doing handy work and helping others.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Dennis) Keezer of Jefferson, GA, and Amy (Aaron Quaderer) Griteman of Oregon, OH; two sons, Mark Kulp and Allen (Pat) Kulp of CA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; one brother, Lowell (Judy) Kulp of TX; and one sister, Marlene (Cecil) Yoder of Fairview, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Richard Kulp; and a sister Virginia Dalu.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday at 3:30 PM at the Fairlawn Chapel with Pastor Doug King officiating.  Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
