If you would like to snap up a piece of Wauseon Marching Band history, keep reading, because this story is for you!

At the most recent Wauseon Music Booster’s meeting, members voted to make the old Wauseon Marching Band uniforms available to the public for purchase.

The over 20-year-old marching band uniforms were recently replaced with a more contemporary style.

Wauseon Music Booster President Luke Ankney noted, “we voted to sell the existing old Wauseon Band uniforms to the public for those that have the sense of nostalgia from their days in the Wauseon Band.”

“I can tell you that people like to have items like this as a keepsake. I have seen in the past, prior band students that have become very creative with old uniforms turning them into throw pillows, handbags, wall decor, and even seen a uniform used as a chair covering.”

The One-Day-Only Band Uniform Sale will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Wauseon High School Band Room.

All sales are on a first come, first served basis.  Uniforms will be priced at $25.00 each and cash, credit and checks are all acceptable.

All proceeds of the Uniform Sales will benefit the Wauseon Music Boosters who in turn use those funds to support the Wauseon Schools music programs.
