Following a review of the treasurer applications and subsequent interviews of 4 certified candidates, the board has unanimously approved a contract for Mr. Fleming through July 2019. Mr. Fleming joins the administrative team and plans to share his Chief Financial Officer experiences at several supply, manufacturing and service organizations. Recently, he served as the C.F.O. for Housing and Dining Services for the Ohio State University in his support of over 50 residence halls and dining facilities.

Superintendent Larry C. Brown shared that he looks forward to working closely with Mr. Fleming to maintain the financial accountable that Wauseon residents are accustomed to and providing a top notch customer service program to assist students, parents, staff and community members.

“It is truly an honor to be selected to serve as the next Treasurer for the Wauseon Exempted Village School District.” stated Mr. Fleming. He added, “I am very much looking forward to the opportunity of work with and serving the Board, the Administration, the Educational and Support Staff, the community and most importantly the students of Wauseon.”
