The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce hosted their quarterly Business After Hours Event at the American Winery and Brewery on Tuesday, May 3rd. The Event was sponsored by The State Bank and is put on to promote local businesses in the Wauseon area.

Currently, the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce has 265 members made up of Wauseon area businesses. Four times a year these businesses are invited to the After-Hours Event to connect with the other chamber businesses in Wauseon.

This allows businesses to network with one another and find others in the area that they may not have realized were here.

Chamber Executive Director Bill Drummer explained that this has helped to create new business for members in the past.

Businesses have needed work done and, due to this event, were able to find a local company that was able to help out.

Food was available to everyone that attended, and refreshments were provided by the American Winery and Brewery.

Both the food and entertainment was provided to those that attended at no cost. Also at the event was a 50/50 raffle and a membership drawing.

A trivia game also took place with t-shirts being given to those that won.

More events will be held this year to provide more networking opportunities to Wauseon businesses.
