GOOD FOOD … A good amount of good food was made available from the various businesses that took part in the Chamber’s annual appreciation picnic. Hungry members lined the tented area waiting for their turn to be served some of the food.

The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce recently hosted their annual member picnic. The picnic was held on the front lawn area of the chamber building located at 115 North Fulton Street.

The picnic, which according to Bill Drummer has been going on for around 20 years now, is put together using Chamber funds in an effort to show appreciation to their members and the City of Wauseon.

Each year all members of the chamber are welcome to come and enjoy the good food and fellowship that takes place at the picnic.

City employees, such as those in public works, the fire department, the police department, city hall, and more are also welcome due to all the support the organization receives from the city.

This year saw food presented by Jeff Rupp of Ace Hardware who grilled brats and hot dogs, as well as food by The Table, Sullivans, and The Perfect Pair Catering.

The line for good food started early, with fellowship and network coming in close behind. Turnout was also good for the chamber, which as of now proudly represents 260 members.
