Wauseon City Council Approves Lease Agreement For New Vactor Truck

In just eight minutes, Council President Shane Chamberlin led Wauseon City Council through it’s paces in the absence of Mayor Kathy Huner.

Council heard a report from Councilman Scott Stiriz on the recent meeting by the Wauseon Recreation Association.

There was a first reading of Ordinance 2021-1 (emergency) which authorizes the South Shoop Repaving Project and a second reading of Resolution 2021-1, which authorizes the Mayor to renew an agreement with Schoenhardt & Associates for accounting services needed to handle the GAAP Accounting.

Also approved were the Previous meeting minutes;  payment of bills;  the Mayor’s appointments to various boards and commissions; and a motion to approve the four year lease agreement in the total amount of $366,000 for the Vactor Truck.

The meeting which began at 5:00 p.m. adjourned at 5:08.
