(September 11th, 2014)-WAUSEON: It took just three games for the Lady Indians to put the Tigers away.
Wauseon hosted Liberty Center on Thursday night, and the visiting Tigers were sent home in defeat. The Indians found themselves winners in straight sets.
Game 1 was controlled by Wauseon from start to finish. They took the set 25-16. Liberty Center tried to battle their way back into the match, but fell short in the second set 19-25. The third game was competitive, but the girls of Wauseon were able to close out the match 25-18.
Kierra Fountain had a big day for the Lady Indians, with 15 digs and 7 aces. Sariah Yackee added 22 digs and 3 aces for Wauseon. Teammate Sydney Bosell had 11 kills, 2 blocks, and an ace on the day. Hayley Chamberlain kept the Indian offense moving, making 15 assists to go along with her 2 blocks and 1 ace.
