Wauseon FFA Chapter Recognizes Young Members

The Wauseon FFA Chapter held a very important meeting on February twenty-third in the Wauseon High School’s study hall room. At this meeting the Wauseon FFA recognized the outstanding members who took an interest in the agricultural industry. For the first time this year, Wauseon FFA awarded to 7th Grade students that enrolled in the 7th Grade Agriculture Education Course and passed their FFA Test. These members were recognized by being awarded their Discovery FFA Degree. The members that were recognized for this award were Ian Arps, Jaden Banister, Maddux Chamberlain, Ayden Cheney, Hunter Gault, Aidan Goodman, Alexis Haury, Hunter Knapp, Gabe Kuszmaul, Hunter Little, Bailey McGuire, Hunter Nofziger, Ken Nye, Ellie Oyer, Jac Schroeder, Kiara Stutzman, Brady Thomas, Benicio Vielma, Luke Wheeler, Layton Wilson, Evan Banister, Jackson Bauer, Jettie Burget, Zander Kesler, Sammy Klawitter, Cooper Lane, Iziah Maya, Logan Moore, Levi Naves, Hayley Orzechowski, Jaxon Radabaugh, Logan Richer, Jaden Short, Loren Starkweather, Lexus Stipp, Nolan Thourot, Devon Turney, Jayden Walther, Keegan Waxler, Kayden Widman, Isaac Wilson,Mariah Wittenmyer.

At this meeting the Wauseon FFA chapter also recognized those that have taken an additional step. Eighth grade and Freshman students that passed their FFA Unit Test and recited and memorized the FFA Creed were awarded the Greenhand Degree. The winners of this Greenhand Degree were Rudy Beltran, Logan Blackman, Sean Brock, Megan Carroll, Lexie Dodd, Jonah Figgins, Zevin Gleckler, Jameson Gray, Faith Jasso, Cole Karcsak, Carson Mahlman, Brandon Martinez, Shali McCarley, Brooklyn Mull, Alyssa Ramos, Jared Richer, Isaac Rufenacht, Briley Rupp, Trent Sauber, Holden Serres, Kyle Silveous, Tyler Silveous, Wes Spadafore, Alex Stevens, Logan Tester, Noah Tester, Jeremiah Wiebeck, Sydney Zirkle, Jarrett Bischoff, Wyatt Blosser, McKayla Clymer, Cody Figy, Israel Garza, Daisy Giguere, Ethan Glover, Shawn Hanson, Garette Hodge, Owen King, Drew Krall, Wyatt Lane, Jordan Lange, Gavin Lotozynski, Michael McNally, Chaz Meyer, Mercedez Osley, Sierra Rupp, Alicia Rutledge, Salina Santiago, Trey Schroeder, Riley Sluder, Chase Soltis, Sammy Sosa, Juli Spadafore, Darion Wade, Troy Whitmer, Brady Blaylock, Jose Cordova, Trent Davis, Jaiden Falke, Madison Henry, Emily Hoeffel, Steven Lotozysnki, Caleb Macklin, Elian Martinez, Merideth Okuley, Trisitan Page, Hannah Richer, Trevor Rodriguez, Brianna Ruby, Elijah Seibel, Levi Seiler, Hunter Serres, Jozlyn Smallman, Mallorie Strauss, Isaac Thourot,Kyle VanSlyke, Amber Wolpert, Rylee Wreede. The Wauseon FFA Chapter would like to congratulate those members for earning their respective degree, and hope that this degree will spark a strong interest to pursue higher degrees that are yet to be obtained.

Also at this meeting, the Wauseon FFA held their officer election to choose new officers. The newly elected officers that will serve on the 2016-2017 Officer Team are Grant Suntken, Conner Johnson, Hannah Richer, Cory Johnson, Julie Kahrs, Kennedy Gebhart, and Mac Warncke. These officers will take charge of the Wauseon FFA Chapter and will make a positive differences in kids as well as the community and school.
