Wauseon High School came together to celebrate its 2025 Homecoming on Friday evening. Students, staff, families, and friends filled the stands as the excitement of the evening’s festivities began.

The celebration kicked off ahead of the football game with pregame activities and the introduction of this year’s Homecoming Court.

The first senior representative was Emmerie Rodriguez, the daughter of Edwin and Jada Rodriguez. Emmerie is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Spanish Club, and GCF, while also competing in track, basketball, and cross country.

She enjoys spending her free time hanging out with friends, running hurdles, traveling, listening to music, and going to the gym. Emmerie shared, “I’m so excited to be chosen for homecoming court, and I can’t wait to celebrate it with everyone.”

She plans to continue her education by running track in college while majoring in pre-med and biology.

The second senior representative was Carter Stuckey, the son of Rebecca and Brian Stuckey. Carter competes in golf and wrestling and enjoys attending student section events and team bonding nights with his golf teammates.

“I am thankful to all of my peers for electing me and honored that they chose me for this special occasion,” he said. Carter plans to attend Spring Arbor University, where he will study accounting while continuing to play golf.

Junior representatives were Addison Fisher and Ricardo Vazquez Jr. Addison, the daughter of Jeremie and Courtney Fisher, is active in volleyball and basketball.

She enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends, and being with her family. Addison shared, “Someday you’ll be looking back on your life, at all the memories. This is gonna be one of those nights,” and plans to study business in college.

Ricardo, the son of Maria and Ricardo Vazquez, plays baseball and football and enjoys fishing and eating out with friends. He shared that he is honored and thankful to have been elected to the junior homecoming court and plans to attend college after graduation.

Sophomore representatives were Brenna Fry and Aiden Franz-Donato. Brenna, the daughter of Todd and Trina Fry, participates in band, choir, and theater, and has been playing the guitar for more than two years. She also plays piano and rides dirt bikes.

Brenna said, “I’m so excited that I get to experience being on Homecoming Court with my amazing boyfriend. This is truly something I will never forget, and I’m so grateful for this opportunity.” She hopes to travel the world in the future.

Aiden is the son of Daylan and Emily Donato and Ashley and Zach Franz. He is involved in soccer, band, archery, and track. “It was shocking that my class wanted me to represent us. It’s an honor,” he said. Aiden hopes to work as a lineman and possibly play soccer in college.

Freshman representatives were Rafa Cardoso and Logan Custard. Rafa, the daughter of Tarine and Carlos Cardoso, is involved in volleyball and tennis and plans to participate in basketball cheer, Spanish Club, NHS, Best Buddies, and Art Club. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, shopping, and listening to music.
