The Edgerton community came together Friday Evening to celebrate tradition, school pride, and the achievements of its students during the 2025 Fall Homecoming Ceremony.

Hosted by the Edgerton High School Student Council, the ceremony introduced attendants from each grade level and recognized this year’s queen candidates, who represent the heart of Bulldog spirit.

The evening began with the presentation of the homecoming attendants and their escorts. Each student shared not only their accomplishments, but also a glimpse into their future dreams.

The freshman class was represented by Amelia Giesige, daughter of Josh and Amanda Giesige, who is active in volleyball, softball, and Spanish Club. She was escorted by Myles Baker, son of Summer Tingle and Heath Baker, a three-sport athlete with plans to pursue health education and exercise science.

The sophomore attendant, Fernanda Trejo, daughter of Maura and Jose Trejo, showcased her impressive involvement in academics, music, and clubs. She aspires to study political economy at Georgetown University. Her escort, Eduardo Romero, son of Marcelo Romero and Ramona Cortes, is a football and basketball player who plans to major in accounting.

This year’s junior attendant, Marta Garcia Davila, came all the way from Spain as an exchange student. Active in cross country, she looks forward to cheerleading and track this year while planning a career in medicine. Marta was escorted by Cole Gary, son of Luke and Traci Gary, who enjoys the outdoors and plans to study electrical training.

The highlight of the evening came with the introduction of senior Queen candidates and the crowning of Edgerton High School’s 2025 Fall Homecoming Queen. With much excitement, Ava Swank was crowned queen and joined by Bryce Schroeder as this year’s king, together representing the heart of Bulldog Pride.

Jaden Dietsch, daughter of Jennifer and Jason Dietsch, is known for her leadership roles in NHS and student council, as well as her dedication to cheerleading and golf. She plans to pursue marketing and join her family’s business. Her escort was Jackson Flower, son of Trey and Codi Flower. Jackson has been involved in football, wrestling, and baseball. Jackson’s plans after high school are currently undecided.

She will continue her basketball career at Trine University while majoring in exercise science. She was escorted by Parker Elden, son of Matthew and Mindy Elden. Parker has been involved in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. His plans after high school are to attend Trine University and major in Civil Engineering.

The tradition of Homecoming royalty continued as last year’s queen, Corinne Cape, returned to help crown this year’s Queen, joined by Winterfest King Andy Meyer, who stood in for former king Cory Herman. Cape is now studying zoo and wildlife biology at Malone University, while Meyer is pursuing engineering technology at Purdue Fort Wayne.

Adding a touch of sweetness to the evening were the kindergarten attendants, Libby Greathouse and Judah Schroeder, who charmed the crowd with their smiles and favorite storybooks.
