Wauseon Indians Host Out Of Conference Fairview Apaches; Set Back Visitors 12-1

WAUSEON: MAY  2, 2014– The Wauseon Indians continue to play error free baseball, and on May 2 at home vs. the visiting Fairview Apaches, this trend continued. Wauseon walked off  with a dominant 12-1 victory to move to 15-5 while remaining undefeated in the NWOAL at 7-0.

Clay Tefft took the mound for the Indians,  throwing a 4 hitter and allowing just 2 runs on the afternoon in 5 innings of work.

At the plate for the Indians in the victory, workhorse Axel Bueter went 2 for 4 with an RBI while scoring 2 runs.  It was also a team effort an across the board with Jacob Newlove, Tefft, JJ Kauffman, Nate Suntken and Caleb Andrews each driving in 2 RBI’s on the day, while Brady Rupp and Ty Suntken also recorded hits for the Indians.
