The services and interventions that are provided at Sara’s Garden’s summer camp represent a unique approach to providing much needed intervention and respite time while creating new opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

This month-long camp experience is tailored to the needs of each child and family. They work with the families to determine what their goals are for their child to focus on.

Some families desire for their child to expand their fine motor, gross motor and/or communication skills. Others long for increased eye contact, socialization, self-care and/or emotional skills. Families choose from specific services that meet the individual needs of their child including, Autism Intervention, Conductive Education, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration and Speech-Language Pathology services.

Sara’s Garden openly welcomes any interested families regardless of diagnosis, or the absence of a diagnosis.

In addition to the summer camp, they also provide an adult program. The highly trained team of conductors and therapists at Sara’s Garden are committed to providing adult clients with the finest in comprehensive intervention and therapy services. The professionals work to restore function and help clients to achieve maximum use of their physical motor skills after an injury, surgery, condition or illness. Each client benefits from an individual treatment program developed in coordination with goals and objectives of each family.

The goal is to help clients reach their personal goals in a healthy, positive, and uplifting atmosphere.

Interested persons in the summer camp or any of the services offered at Sara’s Garden, can call 419-335-7272. Sara’s Garden is located at 620 West Leggett Street, Wauseon, Ohio.
