BEST IN SHOW … Wauseon Middle School student, Maddy Chase and her rabbit competed in the 100th American Rabbit Breeders Association convention in Louisville, Kentucky from October 7-11. This annual event is the world’s largest rabbit show, with over 24,000 rabbits entering the competition. The rabbits are judged against one another following a strict set of standards. There were over 5,200 youth exhibitors and Maddy’s rabbit brought home the top prize of “Best in Show”. This highly sought after award is achieved by few, “I could not believe I won”, said Maddy.
