August 28th: In a back and forth slug fest, it was the Junior High Ladies of Wauseon who stood victorious. Their opponent, Delta, gave the Lady Indians all they could handle, but could not earn the win.
The Wauseon Eighth Graders took charge in game 1, winning the set 25-14. The Lady Panthers battled back, however, and the Wauseon girls found themselves on the wrong end of a 21-25 score. It took a third game to determine the winner of the contest, and the Indians responded to the challenge. Finding the rhythm they had in game 1, Wauseon came on strong, taking the set 25-15.
