The West Unity Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for its next event as the annual U.S. 127 garage sale begins.
The Chamber will host a breakfast at the entrance of the West Unity United Methodist Church. This is a free-will donation and will include homemade breakfast sandwiches, fresh homemade doughnuts, coffee, orange juice and bottled water. The breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.
The Gathering in Unity was deemed a success. The food sold out on both days and the inflatables were a hit thanks to the donations the chamber received.
In other news, the chamber’s web page is still being updated, but is progressing smoothly.
The chamber’s next regular meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 1 at Hilltop High School, due to the library having its book fair.
