Area children are invited to visit the West Unity Library over Christmas and New Year’s break from school for fun programs. At 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23rd, Thursday, Dec. 26th, and Monday, December 30th kids can make crafts and play games while they also visit with the ‘Tail Waggin’ Tutors,’ who will be on hand for children to read to. A Movie Day will be held on Thursday, January 2nd starting at 3:00 p.m. Monsters University, which tells the story of college going monsters, Mike and Sulley, and how their rivalry slowly turned into friendship, will be shown. This computer animated film is kid-friendly and rated G.
During the holiday break the library will also be holding a Christmas Toy giveaway. Children can enter their name into a drawing for a chance to win a Christmas toy each time they attend a program, or return a book that has been read.
