William Whitten, age 78, of Wauseon passed away Monday October 17, 2016 at Swanton Health Care.
Mr. Whitten was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 6, 1938 the son of the late John and the late Susie (Comperry) Whitten. On October 21, 1961 he married the former Ruth Robertson and she preceded him in death in April of this year.
Surviving are daughters; Sue Andrews of Delta, Luane (Lester) Baumer of Wauseon, sons; Bob (Kim) Whitten of Swanton, Rick (Louann) Whitten and Bill Whitten both of Wauseon. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sister Sharon and brother Jim.
Preceding Mr. Whitten in death besides his parents were brothers John, Kenneth, Jay, and Harold, sisters were Carol, Katherine, and Susie and grand-daughters; Cassie Schroeder and Elizabeth Floering.
Arrangements are pending at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
