The Thursday morning Williams County Commissioners regular session held on March 17, 2022 held a few approvals and signings. Approval was given for:

-Resolution 83 Transfer Resolution on behalf of Common Pleas Court, Hillside, Juvenile Court and Treasurer’s office

-Resolution 84 Entering into a (4-D) IV-D Contract on behalf of WC Department of Job and Family Services

-Resolution 85 Entering into another IV-D Contract on behalf of WC JFS

-Resolution 86 Entering into a Contract Amendment on behalf of WC JFS

-Resolution 87 Authorizing Expenditures of funds on behalf of WC EMS

-Also Signed: Dog Warden Weekly Report for week of March 7-13, 2022; Letter to county employees regarding a Blood Drive at the East Annex on April 18 & 20, 2022; Credit card expenditures for Treasurer’s office for May 2022; Travel request for Kellie Gray to attend Spring Conference; credit card appropriation on behalf of Sheriff’s office for April 2022; and Temporary Permit Tenancy Notification form.

-Minutes for March 14, 2022 and payment of bills

A courthouse permit had been submitted for signature, by Good Neighbor BBQ during the cruise-ins held from May through August, but Commissioner Terry Rummel had some questions concerning that.

A permit has not been sent through for the cruise-in yet, and he stated that he thought he had read something about the City of Bryan ruling for no food trucks.

“We might want to hold this and do a little more investigating before we actually sign it,” he said, getting agreement from both Commissioners Lew Hilkert and Brian Davis on that point.

With no further business, they stood in recess from 9:46-10:03, when they re-entered regular session and went right into an executive session to consider employee related matters (ORC 121.22 (G)(1)).

There was no action taken following xecutive session and they adjourned for the day at 10:51 a.m.
