With no other business at the time, they went into recess at 9:20 until 10:00 when they welcomed County Engineer Todd Roth and Ron Buda for bid opening for Project #2-2022 Bruce Drive Improvements.

Buda opened the packets for Bryan Excavating with a bid of $67,196.50 and for M&M Asphalt with a bid of $65,617.70.

Lew Hilkert, who was leading that portion of the meeting as Terry Rummel had to step out for a conference call, concluded the bid opening and explained that the Engineer’s office will review those bids and then post them and send a recommendation to the commissioners for final approval.

After another short recess the commissioners went into session to meet in Executive Session with Melissa Bodey and Mike Kurivial for matters required to be kept confidential.

The session lasted 43 minutes and they had No action taken, adjourning for the day at 11:03.
