The Williams County Commissioners met for their Thursday regular session on July 23, 2026, to accept two bids for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Project.
Commissioners Scott Lirot, Bart Westfall, and Terry Rummel were present.
After passing routine business, a bid opening was held at 10 a.m. with Dennis Miller of the Maumee Valley Planning Organization.
Two bids were received for the City of Bryan, as they were awarded a Critical Infrastructure Grant for a Wastewater Collection Improvement project.
The bids are as follows:
-S&S Directional Boring, $839,250
-Bryan Excavating, $1,014,087.50
Both bids included a bond and a substantial completion date. While originally requested to be substantially completed in March 2027, Commissioners recognized some final construction would not be applicable until the following months.
The final award will be made within a few weeks as MVPO reviews and submits their recommendation.
At 10:30 a.m., a quarterly investment meeting was held with County Treasurer Kellie Gray. With no further business, both meetings adjourned at 10:34 a.m.
