The Williams County Community Theater (WCCT) is doing everything they can to get the theater renovated in time for the 2024 show season.
Once completed, the theater should see about 80 seats, three bathrooms, a green room behind the stage, audio room, and lobby.
The total cost of renovations is estimated at $750,000 for a new lighting system, a new sound system, new plumbing, new electrical, and a new look for both inside and out.

The show must go on, even with the theater torn apart. As renovations continue, the WCCT can be found performing at First Lutheran Church in Bryan, located at 210 North Cherry Street.
Their upcoming show is Rex’s Exes!, with performances on September 29th and 30th, October 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. Call (419)-636-6400 to reserve your $14 ticket, for which the WCCT will accept cash or check.
Those interested in making a tax-deductible donation to the WCCT should contact either Mary Beth at mb.snider@yahoo.com or (419)-799-1241; or Crystal at crystalwcct@gmail.com or (419)-212-1083.
Donations can be mailed to: WCCT, P.O. Box 465, Bryan, Ohio 43506, or can be sent through PayPal for a small fee at: https://www.paypal.me/wcct2021fundraisers .
Those working with the WCCT are just as excited as the community, if not more so, for the Goldsmith Theater to reopen, with Mary Beth Snider stating “it’s our home and we can’t wait. It cannot get done soon enough.”
