The Williams County Grand Jury convened on November 15 and returned indictments against 21 individuals. Those indicted include:
Robert L. Barker, 45, of Bryan was indicted for Tampering with Evidence, a third-degree felony, and Aggravated Possession of Drugs, also a third-degree felony. Barker is charged with possessing and/or using methamphetamine as well as trying to destroy or conceal evidence on or about October 29.
Todd A. Beck, 59, of Montpelier was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, each a fifth-degree felon. Beck is charged with possessing and or using methamphetamine and Fentanyl on or about September 1.
Robert A. Bell, 41, of Williams County was indicted on a total of four counts including one count of Having Weapons while under Disability, a third-degree felony; one count of Burglary, a second-degree felony; one count of Criminal Damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor, and one count of Violating Protection Order, a third-degree felony. Bell is charged with entering a Bryan residence as well as violating a protection order issued out of Dallas County, Iowa and damaging a cell phone on or about October 12. Bell, after having previously been convicted of a felony charge out of Putnam County, was allegedly carrying a firearm at the time.
Byron B. Best, 20, of Camden, Michigan was indicted for Corrupting Another with Drugs, a fourth-degree felony, and Trafficking in Drugs, also a fourth-degree felony. Best is charged with selling and/or furnishing marijuana to a 15 year-old between the approximate dates of September 1 and October 2.
Brooke E. Champada, 30, of Edon was indicted for Endangering Children, a fourth-degree felony. Champada is charged with creating a substantial risk to the health or safety of a three-year old on or about June 10, after having been previously convicted of a similar charge in 2015 by the Defiance County Common Pleas Court.
Alan J. Deetz, 35, of Bryan was indicted for Failure to Notify Change of Address, a third-degree felony. Deetz is charged with failing to register with the Williams County Sheriff’s Office as required by the courts after previous convictions in Paulding, Defiance, and Williams Counties.
Courtney M. Deltz, 21, of Stryker was indicted on two counts of Felonious Assault, each a second-degree felony. Deltz is accused of causing or attempting to cause harm to another by use of pickup truck on or about October 25.
Dallas L. Gillett, 48, of Bryan was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, one fifth-degree felony and one third-degree felony, and Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth-degree felony. Gillett is accused of possessing or using methamphetamine on or about July 16 and August 6 as well as preparing methamphetamine for sale or distribution on or about July 16.
Dana L. Green, 41, of Carlisle, Indiana was indicted for Assault, a fifth-degree felony. Green is charged with causing or attempting to cause harm to a corrections officer at The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on or about September 24.
Heidi R. Gyurnek, 42, of Bryan was indicted on one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth-degree felony. Gyurnek is charged with possessing and/or using as well as preparing for sale or distribution methamphetamine on or about July 16.
John A. Hicks, 51, of Bryan was indicted for Failure to Appear, a fourth-degree felony. Hicks is charged with failing to appear as required by the court in connection to a previous felony charge.
Richard L. Lemmon, 65, of Bryan was indicted on one charge of Operating a Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol or Drug of Abuse, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Lemmon is charged with possessing and/or using methamphetamine as well as operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drug of abuse on or about September 11.
Bradley M. Mosler, 34, of Edgerton was indicted for Obstructing Justice, a fifth-degree felony. Mosler is charged with, on or about October 6, having hindered discovery, apprehension, prosecution, conviction or punishment of another who had been charged with a felony offense.
Charles L. Osburn, III, 22, of Bryan was indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Osburn is charged with possessing and/or using Fentanyl on or about October 10.
Cooper B. Rademacher, 19, of Montpelier was indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a third-degree felony. Rademacher is charged with possessing and/or using methamphetamine on or about August 30.
Rocky W. Reynolds, 43, of Edon was indicted for Failure to Appear, a fourth-degree felony. Reynolds is charged with failing to appear as required by the court in connection to a previous felony charge.
Matthew A. Shadbolt, 29, of Bryan was indicted for Burglary, a second-degree felony. Shadbolt is charged with trespassing in a Bryan home for the purposes of committing theft on or about November 2.
Paul J. Tackett, 48, of Marshall, Michigan was indicted on one count of Assault, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of Criminal Trespass, a fourth-degree felony. Tackett is accused of causing or attempting to cause physical harm to a Williams County Sheriff’s deputy as well as of trespassing on property in the West Unity area on or about November 6.

Seth Thomas, 44, of Edon was indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Thomas is charged with possessing and/or using methamphetamine on or about October 3.
Damion M. Tingley, 23, of Montpelier was indicted on four counts of felonious assault, each a fourth-degree felony. Tingley is charged with causing serious harm to two men on or about October 23. Specifications on the indictment and additional charges indicate that he also attempted to cause harm by use of a firearm he was carrying during the commission of the offense.
Jess R. Wineland of Bryan was indicted for Assault, a fourth-degree felony. Wineland is charged with causing or attempting to cause physical harm to a Williams County Sheriff’s deputy on or about October 27.
It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
