A Williams County Jury returned seven guilty verdicts against William F. Johnson Jr., age 42, of Bryan. Each guilty verdict was in relationship to a count of rape involving two female juveniles under the age of 11. The jury also affirmed three specifications related to the state being able to prove that the victims were under the age of 10 at the time of the offenses. An additional six specifications were affirmed related to Johnson using force or threat of force during the commission of the offenses.

A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled for Johnson but the maximum sentence could be as much as multiple life sentences without the possibility of parole. Johnson was scheduled to reappear in the Williams County Common Pleas Court on Monday, August 1 so that Common Pleas Court Judge J.T. Stelzer could hear from attorneys and rule on additional specifications related to a pattern of criminal conduct as well as Johnson allegedly being a sexually violent predator.
