Williams County Relay For Life Recognized As Number Two In Nation

Per Capita Award PicWilliams County has had a very special award bestowed upon it by the American Cancer Society! The 2015 American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Williams County has been recognized as #2 IN THE NATION for donations per capita, for counties of 35,000-39,999 population. Williams County was also #3 in 2013 and 2014, and #4 in 2012! The award was presented during the Relay Rally and Kickoff. Presenting the award is Samantha Knox of the American Cancer society. Accepting the award are Rick Hubert and Tom Foster (dressed as a Pirate for this year’s Relay theme “Pirates of the CURE-ibbean!) Thank You Williams County for your generosity, and to the Relay volunteers for all the planning, work, cooperation, and support each and every one contributed to make the Williams County Relay a special event!
