Williams County Sheriff Cleared To Purchase Two New Vehicles

The Board of Williams County Commissioners met for a brief meeting Nov. 21.

Commissioners approved the following resolutions:

Resolution 16-0500
Authorizing the Williams County Auditor to make Supplemental Appropriation(s).

Resolution 16-0501
Approving the Williams County Sheriff’s Office to purchase two (2) 2017 Ford Taurus All Wheel Drive Interceptors from Derrow Shirkey Ford Lincoln at a cost not to exceed $48,234.

Commissioners also signed:
Authorizing the Williams County Engineer to issue the following Permit(s) to Work within County/Township Road Right-Of-Way Limits:
#16-004 to United Telephone Company of Ohio dba CenturyLink – PROJECT: Using directional boring method bore across CR 21-N to provide service to the address listed in the location. LOCATION: 9906 CR 21-N located between Roads J and CR 29 in Brady Township.

Construction Starts: Upon receipt. Construction Completed: 90 days.

Authorizing the Williams County Engineer to issue the following Special Hauling Permit:

#16-041 CEOD-365 to Buck and Knobby Equipment Company – CONTINUING: 365-Day, CEOD-365 Equipment, CE-365.

Letter to Sheriff Towns regarding negotiations.

Letter to CEBCO regarding new employee health insurance.

Travel Request for Fred Lord to attend PCSAO Executive Membership Meeting in Lewis Center Dec. 1-2. (JFS).
