On March 1st, 2019 the Williams County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a warrant for Gabriel Gutierrez. The warrant was for leaving the scene of an accident, drug possession and other criminal charges. In conjunction with the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force surveillance was conducted and confirmed his location at a local motel. The two agencies conducted a raid on the room where Gutierrez was found hiding in the shower.
Mr. Gutierrez was taken into custody without incident and transported the Correction Center of Northwest Ohio. During the raid a loaded firearm was recovered in the bathroom along with methamphetamine that was packaged for sale. Other agency assisting in the apprehension was the Ohio State Patrol and the Bryan Police Department.
