Williams County Traffic Fatalities Update For Fourth Quarter 2015

MONTPELIER, OHIO –The Williams County Safe Communities program reports two fatalities for the fourth quarter of 2015 during the months of October-December 2015. This compares with the fourth quarter of 2014 reporting of two fatal traffic crashes in Williams County. There are zero fatalities for Williams County in 2016 to date.

As of February 8, 2016, Ohio traffic statistics reports 64 confirmed fatalities for 2016 as compared to 104 fatalities for the same date in 2015 a difference of -40 and an -38% change. There are an additional 12 unconfirmed provisional traffic fatalities to date for 2016.

Ohio traffic statistics for 2015 reports 1,106 traffic deaths in 2015 compared with 1,008 in 2014. This total is about 10% more than the previous year.

Williams County Second Quarter Traffic Fatalities: There were two fatal traffic crashes in the fourth quarter of 2015, as compared to two fatal traffic crashes in the fourth quarter of 2014.
