You are invited to the Williams Soil and Water Conservation District’s (SWCD) annual Open House and Board of Supervisors’ Election.

The Open House and Williams SWCD Board of Supervisors’ Election will be held on Monday, November 14, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Williams Soil & Water Conservation District office in the Agriculture Services Meeting Room in Bryan. Voting and registration will take place during that time. You can also vote by absentee ballot now until November 14 at 2:00 p.m. Call the office for information on casting an absentee ballot.

The Open House will feature the election of two Williams SWCD Supervisors. Candidates in this year’s special election are: Paul A. Briner, Jim Herman, Scott C. Oberlin, and Matthew A. Slabaugh.

During the Open House, the recipient of the Outstanding Cooperator Award will be announced. Chili, creamy chicken sandwiches and refreshments will also be served.

Educational pollinator information will be available for all ages. Learn what pollinators are and what they do for us. Try to guess the names of native plant species with a fun activity.

The Williams SWCD Board and Staff invite you to come together to cast your vote with people who have the mutual interest of conserving our land and water for those who live beyond us! We hope to see you at this year’s Williams SWCD Open House as we commemorate 69 years of conservation. For more information, please call the Williams SWCD at 419-636-9395 Ext 3. The office is located at 1120 West High Street in Bryan.
