SHS BASEBALL/SOFTBALL COMPLEX … Fencing and foul poles have gone up around the fields of the new Swanton High School baseball/softball complex. According to Superintendent Chris Lake, the drainage, infield surfaces, pitching mounds, home plates, bullpens, and the sprinkler system are in as well. Work to be tackled over the next few weeks includes seeding, installation of electrical service for pumps and scoreboards, and breaking ground for dugouts. “It’s coming along, it should be ready for spring play,” Lake said.
