Wymer’s 16 Points Helps Delta Girls Top Montpelier 61-51 in NWOAL Action

N0584520DELTA – Montpelier’s Lady Locomotives jumped out to an early lead but Delta took control of the game in the third quarter and outscored Montpelier 37-27 in the second half to pull away to a 61-51 victory in a NWOAL match on Thursday January 10th.

Montpelier’s Baylee Hageman led all scorers on the evening with 17 points.  Also scoring for the Lady Locos were: Aleah Maas-12, Lauren Dye and Hannah Blake- 10, and Christina Prather- 2.

Brigan Wymer paced Delta with 16 points.

SCORING BY QUARTER:

Delta       8   16  18  19 – 61
Montpelier 12  12  11  16 – 51
