2015 “Be Your Own Champion” Wellness Challenge Announced

August 14, 2015Updated:November 30, 2016No Comments2 Mins Read

The 2015 “Be Your Own Champion” Wellness Challenge is a free six week on-line email challenge designed to help participants improve their health by encouraging setting personal wellness goals, tracking progress on your goals, increasing physical activity, and using motivators to encourage positive health behaviors. Those who sign up will receive two weekly email communications from Ohio State University Extension containing research based health and wellness information. Additional tracking logs will be available for download to help participants document their progress. A pre- and post-assessment online survey will be used to gather comments to improve future challenges and track members’ progress. All collected data will be kept confidential.

Participants will learn about setting goals appropriate to them, achieving small wins, how to stay motivated and how to get back on track if you have a bad day or bad week.

Interested in joining this on-line challenge? Follow this link to sign-up on line: http://go.osu.edu/Fall15Fulton. You’ll be enrolled and begin receiving emails at the end of August. The Challenge lasts from August 31 to October 11, 2015. If you have questions, please feel free to contact your OSU Extension Educator in Fulton County, Melissa Welker at welker.87@osu.edu or call 419-337-9210.

CFAES provides research and related educational programs to clients on a nondiscriminatory basis. For more information: go.osu.edu/cfaesdiversity
