Bonita L. Saam, age 91 years, of Archbold, passed away Thursday evening, September 13, 2018, at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. She was born October 20, 1926, at Elmira, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Leu) Clingaman. She married Richard Saam on September 15, 1951, and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2016. A resident of the Maumee area many years before moving to Archbold in 2015, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed flea marketing and playing Pinochle with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky A. (Debbie) Saam of Bowling Green, and David (Debra) Saam of Archbold; and two grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Evelyn Roth and Helen Merillat.
There will be no visitation and the service will be private with interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery near Archbold. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
